Pompeii Gladius

 

This is Julie's most recent project using a Del Tin gladius blade, the hilt is cherry and bone with brass insets.  Prior to this she has finished a couple knives.  This is her first sword though and she has done a great job with it.  We had Mark regrind the blade to clean and crisp it up, and he made it look like a totally different blade.  There is no question that this will be going in my collection.
