La Tène I

This is another great blade from Mark at Ollin Sword Design.  It has a strong medial ridge ground from 3/8" stock.  The hilt is two slabs of yew wood that will be riveted together with small domes.  The pommel plate will be wrought iron.  The hilt shape is based on original organic remains from Northern Italy.  The decoration have been carved and burnt into the wood following styles and designs also common in northern Italy at this time.
